Folk tales around OISHI
Kasaishi Rock
Located nearby the top of Mt. OISHI, Kasaishi Rock is a symbol of the OISHI highland. This rock is believed to be a place where Saint Kukai (the founder of Mikkyo sect of Japanese Buddhism) trained himself by keeping to pray while burning cedar sticks for tens of days or more. Though I do not care whether this tale is true or not true, view from the top of this rock is really GREATOOoo!
